My passion for the outdoors started at an early age, but my pursuit of photography didn't start until 2005. I was living in Bozeman, Montana and was armed at the time with a small 3.2 megapixel point-and-shoot. The limitations of the camera didn't change the vision that I sought. With a determined focus on composition and a creative eye, I found beauty and inspiration in places I had once overlooked.

The years that followed brought web design and development into my daily life, but I continued documenting and discovering my passion for photography. I even upgraded my camera! Near the end of 2013, I made the decision to leave Minneapolis to return, once again, to the mountains of Montana. A personal decision to re-kindle my vision, pick up my camera and continue cultivating my passion.
